The Differences between electric vehicle and fuel vehicle

The Differences between electric vehicle and fuel vehicle

Fuel vehicles are mainly composed of engine, chassis, body and electrical components. Compared with fuel vehicles, the structure of electric vehicles is that batteries replace gasoline, and motors replace engines. In addition, unlike traditional fuel vehicles, the braking of electric vehicles can recover braking energy, which is often referred to as braking feedback, while traditional vehicles cannot. Compared with fuel vehicles, the structure of pure electric vehicles is more flexible. The energy of fuel vehicles is mainly transmitted through rigid couplings and transmission shafts, while the energy of electric vehicles is mainly transmitted through flexible cables and wires.

The differences between electric vehicles and fuel vehicles are as follows:

1. The power system is different: electric vehicles use batteries as energy sources, which are driven by electric motors and equipped with speed regulators for speed control; The fuel car uses petroleum products as its energy source, generates power by burning and releasing energy in the internal combustion engine, and is driven and controlled by the transmission. The engine and gearbox are used for fuel vehicles. The electric vehicle has no gearbox, and the electric motor is used. Fuel vehicles need to go to the gas station for refueling, while electric vehicles need to be charged by the EV charger.

2.The power output characteristic of electric motor is different from that of gasoline engine. The engine needs to reach a certain speed to output the maximum torque, but the motor does not need it. After the car starts, press the accelerator pedal to the bottom, and the motor can immediately output the maximum torque. This is also the reason why many high-performance electric vehicles accelerate very fast.

3.The internal quietness of the electric vehicle is better during operation, and the motor will not generate additional noise and jitter during operation. Gasoline vehicles will make noise and shake when driving. The car is not as quiet as electric vehicles.

4.Different emissions: electric vehicles have no emissions and are relatively environmentally friendly; Fuel vehicles burn gasoline, so they will contain a lot of harmful exhaust gases, such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, etc. Compared with traditional vehicles, electric vehicles have the advantages of no pollution, low noise and high energy efficiency.

5.The range of electric vehicles is not as good as that of fuel vehicles. The outdoor temperature is relatively low in winter, and the range of electric vehicles will be shorter.
